Aurora family's saga of success started decades back in the town of Quetta in the then-undivided India . Lala Santramji, the maternal grandfather of the present generation, was a successful builder enjoying life of wealth and status which was cruelly interrupted by partition of the country. Leaving his roots, Lala Santaramji moved to Mumbai where, once again he established himself as an eminent builder. Among his many remarkable projects are Arrey Milk Colony, I.I.T, Powai and the Currency Press at Nasik.
He also helped other members of his family to migrate to Delhi and to spread out to handle different projects
